I have used VRBO several times and have not been disappointed. However, this rental experience was overwhelming. The accommodations were incredible! The pictures on the website do not do this location justice. The living area was both roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with modern appliances. The bathrooms also had modern fixtures and the shower was wonderful. The two bedrooms had modern furniture and the mattresses were very comfortable. Each morning my niece and I sat on the deck and had our breakfast overlooking San Diego Bay. I heartily recommend this rental unit. The rating system only allows for 5 Stars. I can assure you this place is worthy of more than that!

We were extremely pleased with our weeklong stay. The location is great. We are runners so were able to enjoy beautiful runs to either Balboa Park or to the waterfront area, both a short distance away. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Little Italy was a short walk away with a good selection of restaurants. We ate there three out of the seven nights. The view of the Bay is spectacular from the apartment. The apartment was also very comfortable, spacious and homey. The beds were comfortable and with one and a half bathrooms and two bedrooms, there was more than ample space for us (2 parents travelling with an adult child). I would highly recommend this apartment. We loved our stay and would happily return!

Stayed here with three teenagers (family of five) for 5 nights in July. San Diego hotels are very expensive and for us it's always a much better value to rent an apartment. This place was perfect for us; well equipped, washer dryer, great neighborhood. We walked to the zoo, the marina, and Little Italy, and to restaurants in the area, and it was a 5 minute cab ride downtown. The property was very clean and well maintained. We were very late arriving due to traffic in Los Angeles. We received a call the evening of our check in to see if everything was ok, if we had been able to access the property easily, and to let us know about something minor that needed to be repaired, which was very considerate and we really appreciated it. Would definitely stay there again.
