The New Children’s Museum is an arts-based children’s museum that commissions contemporary artists to create pieces with tactile, physical and participatory elements, opening up a world of art to children through opportunities to observe and create.
Since re-opening in 2008, the Museum has launched a series of Museum-wide thematic exhibitions featuring original works of art, designed to help our visitors think, play and create. Featuring a wide array of art and inspiring creativity through a range of topics, our previous exhibitions include Childsplay (2008), Animal Art (2010), TRASH (2011) and our current exhibition, Feast: The Art of Playing With Your Food (2013).
